Background<\/strong><\/h4>

A dynamometer, colloquially known as a “dyno,” serves as a vital tool for measuring force, torque, or power. Acknowledging the significance of measuring muscle strength in physiotherapy, SrushtyPD embarked on a mission to create a singular, multi-functional Assist Aid device.<\/span><\/p>

Existing products in the market were bulky, and another significant issue was the lack of devices that could perform all functions. Users had to buy multiple devices to measure the strength of different body parts.<\/p>

Objective<\/strong><\/h4>

The primary objective is to assess and analyze improvements in muscle strength parameters through a single, versatile device. The parameters should be available to the user in a mobile app.<\/span><\/p>

The challenge<\/strong><\/h4>

Our engineering service engaged in an extensive exploration of Dynamometer device requirements, covering Industrial Design, Conceptual & Engineering phases, and incorporating Mechanical, Electrical, Firmware, and Software Design components. The focus remained on providing a comprehensive solution for assessing overall body muscle strength.<\/span><\/p>

The project encountered distinct challenges, primarily stemming from the absence of a singular device capable of measuring both arm and leg muscle strength. The client’s requirements posed two crucial challenges:<\/span><\/p>

Holistic Muscle Strength Measurement:<\/b><\/p>

The client sought a dynamometer that could comprehensively measure overall body muscle strength in a single device or through the integration of two devices.<\/span><\/p>

Precision in Smaller Muscle Assessment:<\/b><\/p>

Additionally, there was a need for the device to measure the muscle strength of smaller muscle groups, such as fingers.<\/span><\/p>
